Sweetheart Invitational - Feb. 23, 2008
Our girls did a fantastic job at the Sweetheart Invitational. Hailey, level 4, placed first on bars with an
8.775 and 3rd on vault with a 9.1! In the older level 4 group, Monica placed 2nd on vault with a 9.225, first
on bars with a 9.175, and 2nd overall and Esme placed 3rd on bars. In the level 5 division, Sarah placed 2nd
on floor, Lucia placed 1st all-around, Marina placed first both on vault and floor and Jaina placed 1st on beam.
Cassie, level 7, placed 1st on vault with a 9.1 and 1st on beam and the all-around. Logan, level 8 placed 1st on
bars, beam, floor and all-around.
Snowflake Classic - Jan. 27, 2008
At the Snowflake/Golden Bear Classic two of our level 4 gymnasts, Esme and Hailey, competed in their
very first meet ever! They did awesome! Monica, also a level 4, placed 2nd on bars, 3rd on floor and 2nd
in the all-around. Lucia, level 5, did well placing 3rd on bars and near the top all-around. Jaina, level 5,
placed 3rd on beam. Marina and Sarah competed level 5 for the first time. Our optional team is getting
stronger. Cassie competed in her first meet as a level 7. Logan, a level 8, placed third on vault.
Surf Classic - Jan. 13, 2008
The Winter/Spring competition has begun. At their first meet of the season, our girls team showed off
what they can do. Alyssa (level 4) placed 2nd on bars and Monica (level 4) placed 2nd on vault and 2nd
on beam. Jaina (level 5) placed 2nd on beam and 3rd on floor and Lucia (level 5) placed 1st on bars, beam
floor and all-around. Logan (level 8) placed 3rd on beam at her second level 8 competition. Great job girls!
